Title: A Quantum Mechanics Approach to Modeling the Dynamics of Gene Regulatory Networks and A Susceptible/Infectious (SI) Population A quantum mechanics framework is constructed in order to model the dynamics of a gene regulatory network as well as a susceptible/infectious population. We discuss the necessary creation and annihilation operators as well as the Markov generating function, whose solution determines the dynamics of the discrete probability distributions. The associated model is a first order PDE which can (hypothetically) be solved in closed form.
