Abstract
Purpose of the StudyThe purpose of this study is to explore the role of COVID-19 perceptions, on wedding planners’ job satisfaction, work-stress perceptions, and voluntary turnover intentions. The study will be guided by the Social Cognitive Theory in order to better understand the role that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on these wedding professionals. A central concept of Social Cognitive Theory, reciprocal determinism, will provide a framework for understanding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as professionals’ work-related behaviors.
