Abstract
This presentation was given in recognition of Open Access Week 2017. Presenters provided a brief introduction to open access, news about our institutional repository ISU ReD, and explored some current issues related to open access and repositories. Members of the IR Core Team will provided updates on ISU ReD, such as new and upcoming collections, services for faculty, information on electronic theses and dissertations, and refresher training on self-depositing items. Presenters also discussed broader topics related to repositories and open access, such as Elsevier's acquisition of bepress and resources for faculty who have questions about predatory journals or paying for article processing charges.
