Description
While most colleges and universities have some sort of official faculty handbook, very few of those faculty handbooks contain all the information about the classroom that new faculty really need. With that thought in mind, in 1998 CAT sponsored the creation of a "real" faculty teaching handbook called The Insider's Guide to Teaching, which provided tips about teaching and learning from current faculty for newcomers to our campus. In Spring 2001, two faculty members - Doug Turco, Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, and Ricardo Cruz, Department of English - edited a second edition titled In Teaching...
