Abstract

This is the first of six volumes of historic enrollment ledgers for Illinois State Normal University. The ledgers date from 1857 to 1923 and contain basic demographic information about students, such as name, age, birthplace, date they entered and exited the University, names and occupation of students' parents/guardians, and names of people who referred students to admittance. The ledgers may contain graduation information. This volume covers records from 1857 to 1867.
