Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff can either deposit their own work, or request that the ISU ReD team deposit it on their behalf.
If you are depositing your own work:
To deposit a work in ISU ReD, use the button bellow to find and select your desired collection for your submission. If you do not see your department listed, please contact the ISU ReD team at ISUReD@ilstu.edu.
When you select the collection, you will be prompted to log in. ISU ReD does not use Central Login. If you do not have an account, select the “Sign up” link to create an account. You may use your ISU email or a personal email address.
After you’ve logged in, a Submission Agreement statement will display. You must read and agree to the terms to continue. If you have any questions about the Submission Agreement or are unsure if you hold the copyright to your work, please contact the ISU ReD Team at ISUReD@ilstu.edu.
After you’ve completed the Submission Agreement, a form will open for you to fill out descriptive information (title, author, abstract, etc.) for your contribution. You will also upload your document(s) on this page. If you have more than one file, make sure to check the “additional files” box at the bottom of the page. Once you’ve completed the form, click the Submit button. Your contribution will then be sent to the ISU ReD team for final approval before it is made available in the repository.
If you would like us to deposit your work for you:
The ISU ReD Team is happy to deposit your work for you! If you would like us to deposit your work, please fill out the Submission Statement and email the work(s) to ISUReD@ilstu.edu. If you are unsure whether you have permission to deposit your work, please let us know, and we will review its copyright status.
Graduate Students
If you are depositing your thesis or dissertation:
To upload your thesis or dissertation for required deposit, go to https://ir.library.illinoisstate.edu/etd and click Submit Content in the left navigation bar or using the link at the top of the page. You must submit to the Theses and Dissertations collection at that link. You will be prompted to create an account, complete the submission agreement and submission form, and upload your work. Detailed instructions are available on the Graduate School website at https://grad.illinoisstate.edu/students/thesis-dissertation/plan.
If you would like to deposit other research or coursework:
To deposit other research or coursework, please contact the ISU ReD Team at ISUReD@ilstu.edu. If you are participating in the University Research Symposium and consented to sharing your work in ISU ReD, we will upload your work on your behalf.
Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate work must be submitted by a faculty or staff member. If you are interested in depositing your work, please contact the faculty or staff member who supervised your work. They can deposit the work on your behalf or are welcome to contact the ISU ReD Team at isured@ilstu.eduand we will deposit it.
If you are participating in Image of Research or the University Research Symposium and consented to sharing your work in ISU ReD, we will upload your work on your behalf.
