According to research conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), leadership positions and co-curricular activities rank as two of the most important factors to employers when evaluating resumes of college students. Further research indicates that students self-evaluate themselves more proficient than employers do in seven out of the eight career readiness competencies:
-Global/Intercultural Fluency - Digital Technology
-Critical Thinking/Problem Solving - Leadership
-Oral/Written Communications - Teamwork/Collaboration
