Description
Inspired by Andy Warhol's iconic style, this collection of pictures explores the intricate anatomy of a tiny worm, C. elegans. These images, taken with a special microscope at different layers, reveal the insides of this small creature, showing patterns and details usually invisible to our eyes. With splashes of color, the images reveal the worm's tiny muscles and pharynx - its eating tube - all lit up like neon signs. A special highlight is a protein that's key to my research, shining like a star in this tiny universe. This artistic interpretation provides a unique perspective on the organized structure of the musculature of these small, yet complex creatures.
