Description
Dyad surveys were conducted annually between the late 1960s and early 1970s by the Student Senate's Academic Affairs Commission. They sought to compile statistical ratings and personal comments from students regarding general education courses they were enrolled in, with the aim of assisting future students in selecting the "best" sections and instructors. The frankness of the public course reviews, as well as potential bias built into the questionnaires and sampling strategies, led to a great deal of controversy on campus and the eventual abandonment of the Dyad project.
