TLCSD Journal Policies
Research and reflection on teaching and learning in speech-language and audiology. TLCSD is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, not-for-profit journal. There are never any charges to authors. TLCSD is an open access journal that provides content that is available to the public without cost.

Open Access
TLCSD provides immediate open access to its publication content in order to facilitate the open and easy exchange of content and ideas for all readers. TLCSD adheres to the BOAI definition of open access: that users have the right to "read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link" to the full texts of these articles.
Charges
TLCSD does not charge a submission or publication fee to authors. The journal is open access and does not charge for subscriptions or downloads of content.
Publication Frequency
TLCSD is published twice annually with additional Special Topic Issues published on occasion.
Archiving Policy
TLCSD files are archived through the Bepress Archive, which uses Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). Files receive a data integrity check upon upload and Amazon performs checksums and repairs corruption, if needed. Files are stored redundantly on multiple servers.
Copyright Licensing, Reproduction & Attribution Policy
TLCSD authors retain the copyright of their papers, without restrictions. By publishing in TLCSD, authors grant the journal non-exclusive publishing rights to publish the articles. TLCSD content is published under a Creative Commons License Attribution 4.0 CC-BY.
General Terms and Conditions of Use
Users of the Teaching and Learning in Communication Sciences & Disorders (TLCSD) website and/or software agree not to misuse the TLCSD service or software in any way.
The failure of TLCSD to exercise or enforce any right or provision in the policies or the Submission Agreement does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any term of the Submission Agreement or these policies is found to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Submission Agreement and these policies remain in full force and effect. These policies and the Submission Agreement constitute the entire agreement between TLCSD and the Author(s) regarding submission of the Article.
